“This chardonnay and pinot noir blend has a copper-pink hue and a restrained bouquet of savoury aromas, clean and fresh, if not especially fruity, invoking dry straw, dried herbs and pot-pourri. The palate tracks the nose, and finishes pleasantly dry and appetising. The finish has a tickle of tannin grip and is clean and lingering. There’s a lot of pinoty flavour, with attractive richness and depth of flavour. The structure enables it to handle flavoursome foods. Amazing value.” – HUON HOOKE

Winemaking Notes

Syn Sparkling Rosé has a stone fruit nose with attractive yeasty complexity. Lively Pinot Noir fruit enhances the peachy aromas. Subtle flavours of cherry surround the textured palate. Brut in style with lovely creaminess, the wine finishes with a refreshing soft acidity.
